Edwards Lifesciences LLC is clearly in a growth mode on its Irvine, CA campus. This location is our corporate headquarters as well as the manufacturing platform for tissue heart valve manufacturing. The company has major R&D initiatives requiring the creation of laboratories, pilot operations, offices, parking infrastructure, site amenities, and so forth.

Very deliberately, we needed to change our way of addressing the design, construction management, and the construction of the company's facilities needs. We needed to be more nimble and fast in our approach. A key part of this approach was the selection of Studio-SA to be our architectural and planning team. The company has been very satisfied with the role of Studio-SA in the evolution of the Edwards Lifesciences' Irvine campus.
